The American University of Paris invites applications for a one-semester visiting position in the Economics Department for the Fall 2016 semester. Teaching responsibilities will include three undergraduate economics courses (Intermediate Microeconomics, Game Theory, and Money, Banking, and Financial Markets). The faculty member hired for Fall 2016 may be invited to teach three courses during Spring 2017, which starts in January, and will be invited to apply for a tenure-track position that starts in Fall 2017.
A PhD in Economics is preferred. Prior teaching experience is required. European Union citizenship or legal right to work in France is preferred, but not necessary at the time of application. If the successful applicant for the position is a citizen of some other country, The American University of Paris will apply for a visa to allow the person to live and work in France but cannot obtain immigrant visa for spouses and dependents.
