The Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in International and/or Human Development, beginning July 1, 2017, subject to budget approval. We are especially interested in scholars whose work focuses not only on traditional economic development themes, but also addresses outcomes in health, education, and freedom at the individual and group levels, and pays particular attention to issues of inequality. We welcome applications from scholars in any relevant discipline, including economics, geography, political science, development studies, and international relations, and are open to all methodological approaches. Candidates who have demonstrated policy experience are especially encouraged to apply.
