The Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and the Murphy Institute of Political Economy are seeking applications for a new tenure-track or tenured faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the area of health policy. Candidates at the advanced level are expected to have an extramurally funded research program in health care policy, health care financing and insurance, population health management or clinical economics and outcomes research. In addition, the candidate would participate in teaching activities in the school’s Master of Public Health, Master of Health Administration, or doctoral program. The selected candidate would teach one advanced course annually in health economics or health policy for the Economics Department and be expected to participate actively in research, seminars, and other activities at the Murphy Institute.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics, health policy, or business, evidence of high-quality research and scholarly publications, and experience with extramurally funded research grants.
