The Macrohistory Lab at Bonn University is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in economic history, empirical macroeconomics and related fields. The appointment will be for a period of up to three years.
Salary is dependent on experience and is in the range of EUR 43,000 to EUR 52,000 (gross) per annum. Additional funds for research visits, conference travel and research assistance will be available.
The successful candidate will work in the Macrohistory Lab at Bonn University. The Lab is part of the Institute of Macroeconomics and Econometrics and an integral part of the Economics Department at Bonn University. We offer a rigorous research environment along with an active weekly seminar series on Economic and Financial History with distinguished international guests.
Requirements:
PhD in economics, finance, or economic history
Familiarity with quantitative research methods
Publishing record or evidence of potential to publish in leading journals
