The Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time faculty position to teach Economics courses at our University Campus in Saint Leo, Florida.

This is a nine (9) month, full-time faculty appointment at the Assistant/Associate level.

Review of candidate materials begins immediately for anticipated start date of August 9, 2017 but will remain open until filled.

Responsibilities include:
Teaching 9 classes per year;
Advising students;
Assessing, assisting, and guiding online adjunct Economics faculty under the direction of the department chair;
Engaging in curriculum development;
Supporting recruiting efforts;
Demonstrating professional development (e.g., scholarly research);
Undertake community service in keeping with the school’s Benedictine values;
Teach on-ground and online undergraduate and graduate classes; and
Teaching traditional and non-traditional age students; and

Required Qualifications:
A Doctorate in Economics from a regionally accredited institution that includes a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Economics.

Candidate must be a US citizen.
