Saint Leo University is one of the largest and most innovative Catholic universities in the United States and ranks as one of the nation’s leading providers of higher education for active duty military and veterans, and is a nationally recognized leader in online education.

The Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time faculty position to teach Economics courses at our University Campus in Saint Leo, Florida.

This is a nine (9) month, full-time faculty appointment at the Assistant/Associate level.

Review of candidate materials begins immediately for anticipated start date of August 9, 2017 but will remain open until filled.

Responsibilities include:
Teaching 9 classes per year;
Advising students;
Assessing, assisting, and guiding online adjunct Economics faculty under the direction of the department chair;
Engaging in curriculum development;
Supporting recruiting efforts;
Demonstrating professional development (e.g., scholarly research);
Undertake community service in keeping with the school’s Benedictine values;
Teach on-ground and online undergraduate and graduate classes; and
Teaching traditional and non-traditional age students; and

Required Qualifications:
A Doctorate in Economics from a regionally accredited institution that includes a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Economics.

Candidate must be a US citizen.
