We are currently seeking talented Applied Econometrician:
USAA is looking for econometricians, who acts as strategic partner in anticipating modeling opportunities and developing solutions to drive business results. Leads, motivates and facilitates cross-functional teams through the problem resolution process, including creating models to produce substantiated recommendations and reports in support of business initiatives, efficiencies and potential strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
Depends on which position (Lead, Sr., I or II) and ranges from recent Masters degree with no industry experience for the entry level I job to requirement for PhD and 4 years of work experience for the Lead job.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Statistics or Economics, with proven experience in developing Econometric models
Experience in participating in the execution of a DFAST program, providing and/or executing the forecasting algorithms
Knowledge of the regulations influencing DFAST and CCAR submissions
Knowledge of operational risk
