The Department of Economics at Texas Christian University invites applications for two one-year, non-tenure track Lecturer positions beginning August 2017. The position carries a 4/4 teaching load consisting primarily of introductory micro- and macroeconomics courses. Applicants must have completed at least 18 graduate hours in economics or the equivalent and must have taught (as the instructor of record) at least four semester-long sections of undergraduate economics. The successful candidate will have a record of highly effective teaching in introductory economics courses. Preference will be given to applicants with a completed Ph.D. who are able to offer upper-division courses complementary to those of the current faculty.
