The Economics Department invites applications for a full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2017-18 academic year, with a teaching load of three courses per semester. The individual filling this position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate electives in applied microeconomics, such as econometrics, environmental economics, public finance, or other applied microeconomics courses in the candidate’s fields of interest that fit with the needs of the Department. They will also share responsibility for introductory economics and statistics courses. The successful candidate will exhibit a special commitment to excellence in undergraduate education in a liberal arts setting.
A completed Ph.D. by August 2017 is preferred; ABD will be considered. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
