Pending on administrative approval, Department of Economics invites applications for one faculty position starting sometime between 2017/9-2018/4 at the rank of Associate Professor with tenure. Candidates must have outstanding research records, which will be the most important criterion. Applicants must hold Ph.D. or must be expected to complete by the time of appointment.

Candidates are expected to teach economics courses (such as microeconomics, Business Economics, finance, etc...) in our exchange student program (in English), undergraduate and graduate programs (in Japanese), depending on our curriculum needs and applicant's expertises. Application deadlines is March 31, 2017. Late applications may be considered but may not receive full consideration. Candidates must be fluent both in Japanese and English. We do accept applications through JOE.
