Washington & Jefferson College and its Department of Economics & Business Administration invite applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in Economics, any field, beginning August 2017. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in economics completed by time of appointment. Teaching experience is strongly preferred. Ability to offer courses in Environmental/Resource Economics would be especially welcome. Typical teaching assignment is 3 courses per term.

The successful candidate should be committed to working closely with students in a residential, undergraduate, liberal arts institution.
