The Department of Management at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (aka New Mexico Tech) seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor beginning August 1, 2017 to teach introductory economics, financial economics, engineering economics, and statistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels and conduct research in one of these areas. The preferred candidate will have an interest in transdisciplinary teaching and research in a STEM environment; an interest in energy economics and/or industry experience is desirable. This is a one-year academic appointment that may lead to a future tenure track position. Applicants are required to hold a Ph.D. in economics, industrial engineering, management, or related field at the time of appointment. Salary negotiable.
