Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Heritage Foundation’s Institute for Economic Freedom seeks two economists to join our team of policy researchers. The Heritage Foundation’s mission is “to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.” The Institute for Economic Freedom pursues this mission through rigorous, transparent research, timely policy analysis, and engaged advocacy.

One position is for an empirically-focused economist with expertise in either labor markets or international trade and an interest in studying their intersection.

The other position is focused on programming and simulations and will work with our team to expand and maintain our suite of policy models.

Successful candidates will be free-market economists with a strong interest in policy. Both fresh and seasoned candidates are welcome. M.A. holders with experience will be considered.
