Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Carnegie Endowment, a premier international affairs think tank with centers in Washington, Beijing, Beirut, Brussels, Moscow, and New Delhi, is looking for an expert in international economics to join its new Washington-based Geoeconomics and Strategy Program.
The new program’s objective is to generate fundamental insights and disseminate them to key policy audiences on the intersection of political and economic issues that lie at the core of today’s global disorder, the changing landscape of economic statecraft, and the connection between economics and national security strategy making. The program will seek to build a wide constituency of public and private sector leaders and decisionmakers.
The Senior Fellow will have considerable latitude within this program framework to develop a work agenda of his or her choosing, and to find ways to work collaboratively with Carnegie scholars across Carnegie’s wide ranges of programs and centers. Preferred candidates will have an outstanding record of achievement in some combination of the private sector, government, policy research, and academia, substantial international experience, the drive to forge innovative new lines of work, and an interest in fusing an international economic perspective with other areas of global policy.
Located in Washington, DC. Please apply with your C.V. and brief statement of interest via the Carnegie Endowment website: https://carnegieendowment.applicantpro.com/jobs/544587.html.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected group.
