Brookings is pleased to launch the David M. Rubenstein Fellows Program. The challenges facing the United States and the world require rigorous, innovative, evidence-based research that generate fresh thinking and innovative policy solutions. Through this program, Brookings is seeking to recruit the next generation of rising stars and creative thinkers to help achieve our mission of improving governance in the United States and across the world. The Rubenstein Fellowships are aimed at outstanding early- to mid-career scholars and policy experts with a diverse array of backgrounds, experience, and scholarship expertise. Beginning in 2017, Brookings will award up to 10 Rubenstein Fellowships every two years, with each fellow appointed for a two-year period in one of the Institution's five research programs (Economic Studies, Governance Studies, Foreign Policy Studies, Metropolitan Studies, and Global Economy and Development Studies), or for a joint appointment across programs.
