The mission of the Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics is to measurably improve value in health through evidence-based policy solutions, research and educational excellence, and private and public sector engagement.

The Schaeffer Center is seeking a Research Programmer I to join its team. This is a two-year (renewable), fixed-term position. We are seeking an economist to support a new initiative advancing health policy affecting the hospital industry. Successful candidates will be able to design and implement theoretically informed empirical analyses and to communicate effectively with non-academic as well as academic audiences. Candidates must have extensive project management background and possess exceptional interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills. Ideal candidate would possess a strong institutional knowledge of the healthcare industry and policy issues, ideally the hospital sector.
