The Department of Economics and Finance invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics beginning August 2017. The successful candidate for this 2-year appointment will teach a 3-3 load, including Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics and other elective course(s), and also participate in research and service.

Required Qualifications:
ABD in a Ph.D. program in economics
Potential to conduct high quality research
Experience teaching as the instructor of record
Demonstrated effectiveness in written communication
