Director of the Institute (D-2)
Required qualifications: Doctoral degree in Economics or a related discipline. Established track record of leadership in development economics or in economics with strong social influence. Background of research and publications on policy-related developmental issues. Administration and research leadership, demonstrating excellence, growth, and cost-effectiveness. Experience in developing policy-relevant research. Successful track record of fund raising. Capacity to formulate and articulate a shared vision and to persuade audiences. Ability to interact with colleagues of diverse cultural backgrounds. Commitment to issues of human development and welfare. Sensitivity to gender issues. Fluency in English and another UN language.
