The Department of Economics at Marquette University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Applied Macroeconomics / Monetary Economics beginning Fall 2018. The department offers AACSB-accredited undergraduate and graduate (MSAE, MBA) degrees in Economics and Business. The teaching load is 2/2 in the first year and 3/2 (15 semester hours total) thereafter, with possible course reductions related to research productivity.
The Department is seeking candidates with specific research and teaching interests in applied macroeconomic fields of money and banking and macroeconomic policy (including public finance aspects), and interest in teaching these courses in the MSAE program and undergraduate programs. (Applicants should state their level of interest in teaching these courses in their cover letter.)
