The Department of Economics invites applications for two tenure track positions beginning August 24, 2018. We seek candidates who are interested in teaching at a liberal arts institution, and whose primary fields of specialization include finance, marketing/advertising or related fields. In addition to teaching courses in their fields of specialization, candidates should be willing to teach introductory and intermediate micro or macro. Successful candidates will also be expected to participate in delivering college-wide first-year/sophomore seminars. Although a terminal degree in Economics or related disciplines is desired by the time of appointment, advanced ABDs will be considered. Teaching load is three courses per semester.

Allegheny College is a highly selective private liberal arts college in NW Pennsylvania, with an increasingly diverse student body and a dedicated faculty of teacher-scholars.
