Full Text of JOE Listing:
The School of Business, Government, and Economics invites applications for a full-time, renewable, assistant professor position beginning September 1, 2018. We seek candidates in Applied Microeconomics who are interested in teaching at a Christian liberal arts institution. We prefer candidates with applied research interests related to finance, econometrics, development, urban, or related fields. In addition to teaching courses in their fields of specialization, candidates should be willing to teach introductory and intermediate theory courses in microeconomics. Candidates should have a strong commitment to the liberal arts and the ability to integrate Christian values into their teaching, as well as the ability to create and sustain an inclusive learning environment.
Candidates interested in the potential for collaborative research with undergraduates are encouraged to apply. PhD in Economics desired by the time of appointment; advanced ABDs will be considered.
