The Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics at Ohio State University seeks an associate or full professor in agricultural economics and policy for an academic year appointment. Applicants should have teaching and research interests in U.S. and other countries’ agricultural policies, and the ability to explain policy impacts to diverse audiences. The appointee is expected to develop and maintain a world-class research program, teach the equivalent of two to three classes, and develop a visible outreach/extension program focused on explaining the impacts of agricultural policies to local, state, national and international audiences.
Applicants must possess a PhD in agricultural economics, applied economics, economics, or related field and have an academic record sufficient to obtain tenure in AEDE.
