The IMES expects candidates to carry out high-quality research in the fields of macroeconomics, monetary economics, international finance, econometrics, and finance (including artificial intelligence in finance and high frequency data analysis). The IMES encourages academic research as its primary duty, while some policy-related research may be required for in-house purposes.
