Associate/Full Professor of Economics & Department Chair. The Department of Economics at North Central College invites applications for a Department Chairperson to begin August 2019. Appointment at the rank of associate or full professor is anticipated, depending on candidate qualifications and scholarly record. Qualified candidates may be appointed with tenure.

The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership and oversight to all aspects of the Economics Department. Teaching responsibilities will be based on the individual’s background and interests in any field of economics, though microeconomics or applied microeconomics fields are preferred.

Founded in 1861, North Central College http://www.noctrl.edu is a selective, comprehensive liberal arts institution of about 3000 students, located 28 miles west of Chicago in Naperville. The School of Business and Entrepreneurship moved into a newly renovated building with a Bloomberg Finance Lab in Fall 2017. The School is in the process of initial AACSB accreditation.
