The Economic Research Department seeks to hire a researcher with expertise in econometrics or data science, with applications to economics or finance. Primary responsibilities include providing high-quality analysis for policy briefings, writing and presenting research findings in peer-reviewed journals, and writing articles for the Bank's Economic Review. Qualified candidates possess strong analytical and communication skills, and demonstrate the potential to collaborate with other researchers. A Ph.D. in economics or finance is required. Excellent resources include a collaborative work environment, high-quality research assistants, a high-performance computing environment, and an in-house Federal Statistical Research Data Center (RDC).
