The Center for Studies in Economics and Finance (CSEF) and the Department of Economics and Statistics (DISES) of the University of Naples Federico II invite applications for Research Fellowships starting in the Fall of 2019. There are no restrictions regarding the research area. Applications by candidates of any nationality are welcome. Knowledge of Italian is not required for the positions.

The Fellows will be appointed for 3 years. The salary will be up to 60,000 euro before taxes, depending on qualifications, publications and research profile. Teaching a graduate or undergraduate course is required. After 3 years, the Fellows may be hired for a tenure-track position.

CSEF is a research center directed by Marco Pagano that joins the University of Naples Federico II, Bocconi University and the University of Salerno. DISES is directed by Tullio Jappelli. CSEF and DISES are closely integrated and are located in common premises at the University of Naples Federico II.

Application procedure
Applications should be received by November 15, 2018. They should include the curriculum vitae, one (or more) research paper(s) and at least two reference letters, and should be sent by e-mail to Prof. Marco Pagano at csef@unina.it and to Prof. Tullio Jappelli at dip.scienze-econ-stat@unina.it citing the reference “Research Fellowship 2018”.
Interviews will take place in Naples on December 6-7, 2018 at the European Job Market. Job market candidates who do not plan to be present in that venue should indicate it in their applications, so that alternative dates and arrangements can be made for their interviews. The most promising candidates will be invited for seminars in December 2018, and from January to March 2019.
