The Department of Economics and the USC Spatial Sciences Institute (spatial.usc.edu) in the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) invite outstanding candidates to apply for a full-time tenure-track faculty/Assistant Professor in Spatial Econometrics, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2019. The new hire will play a key role in our new MS in Spatial Economics and Data Analysis Program, https://dornsife.usc.edu/econ/ms-in-seda/ and https://spatial.usc.edu/m-s-in-spatial-economics-and-data-analysis/, as well as other Economics and Spatial Sciences academic programs. A doctoral degree in Economics, Geography, or a related discipline is required at time of appointment. Tenure-track candidates are expected to publish in leading economics and/or spatial sciences journals and to be effective teachers.
