NYU Shanghai is currently inviting applications for positions at the ranks of tenured full professor, and tenured or pre-tenure associate professor, in Economics. We are especially but not exclusively interested in candidates whose research topics fall in the areas of econometrics (including links to data science), theoretical and experimental approaches to decision making and behavior (including links to neuroscience), political economy, development, and public health, and in candidates whose research settings include China, or Asia more broadly. Our search is, however, open in terms of research topics and settings, and we will consider highly qualified candidates in all fields of economics. Successful candidates will demonstrate the capacity for significant research, for high-quality instruction in the classroom, and for leadership in building the Economics group at NYU Shanghai.
