The Economics Department invites application for a tenure-track Assistant Professor starting 8/2019. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, and service. This position will join xs/fs, Florida State University's cluster in experimental social sciences. Information about the cluster can be found at http://www.xsfs.fsu.edu/. We are open to all types of work in experimental economics, including work in either laboratory or field experiments. The hiring process will stress the potential of candidates to produce internationally recognized research in experimental economics and to interact positively with existing and future members of the economics department and xs/fs.
We may hire either a new Ph.D. or an advanced Assistant Professor. Under exceptional circumstances, a second hire is possible. Either the Ph.D. must be in hand or all requirements for the Ph.D. must be satisfied by 8/8/19. The deadline for applications is 12/1/18.
