The Department of Economics (https://www.lsu.edu/business/economics/) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin in Fall 2019. New and prospective PhDs, senior Assistant Professors, as well as Associate Professors are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants must have a solid research record or promise for development of a strong research agenda. Candidates are sought with expertise in applied microeconomics fields listed above. The Department has a strong research orientation and offers B.A., B.S., M.S, and Ph.D. degrees in Economics. Interviews will be held at the ASSA meetings in Atlanta in January. Junior candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2019. LSU is an Equal opportunity/equal access employer.
