The Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Economic History at the Assistant Professor level. Vanderbilt stresses excellence in research and teaching in its doctoral, masters, and undergraduate programs. Preliminary interviews will be conducted at the January AEA meetings in Atlanta.

Appointment at the Assistant Professor level at full salary requires a Ph.D. as of August 16, 2019. Faculty duties include the development of a distinguished and visible program of research, as well as teaching.

Submissions should include CV, job market paper, statement of teaching interests and evidence of teaching effectiveness; you will also need to designate three references at the time of your application.
