The Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks one or more lecturers to teach and/or develop and teach two courses in economics each semester. Depending on the needs of the department, the successful applicant will be expected to teach principles of micro or macroeconomics, intermediate micro or macroeconomic theory, money and banking, advanced level undergraduate electives and possibly MS level courses. Duties include holding office hours; preparing, administering, and grading homework and exams; and supervising the activities of teaching assistants if assigned to the courses. Minimum of MS in Economics required; PhD is preferred. At least six semesters of teaching experience at the university or college level is required. This is a 100% renewable appointment with an anticipated begin date of August 19, 2019.
