The Department of Management at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment, at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Finance/Financial Economics. Position start date is July 1, 2019.
Qualified applicants must have a PhD in the area of Finance or Financial Economics or a closely related field by the date of appointment or shortly thereafter. Demonstrated mastery in theory, empirical or experimental research methods is required, as well as evidence of excellence in research and teaching.

Applications must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, job market paper, up to three sample publications, a research statement outlining current and future research interests/accomplishments, a teaching dossier including a statement of teaching philosophy and evaluations (as well as sample syllabi, description of teaching strategies and innovations, links to video lectures, etc., if applicable), and three recent letters of recommendation that comment on the applicant’s research and teaching abilities.
