The Department of Management at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment, at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Strategy. The position start date is July 1, 2019.

Qualified applicants must have a PhD in Management or Economics, with a focus on Strategy by the date of appointment or shortly thereafter. Knowledge of industrial organization economics and the economics of innovation is expected and evidence of excellence in research and teaching is required.

Applications must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, job market paper, up to three sample publications, a research statement outlining current and future research interests/accomplishments, a teaching dossier including a statement of teaching philosophy and evaluations (as well as sample syllabi, description of teaching strategies and innovations, links to video lectures, etc., if applicable), and three recent letters of recommendation that comment on the applicant’s research and teaching abilities.
