The Department of Economics and the Centre for Finance at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, will recruit one assistant professor in Finance during 2019. This is a six year tenure track position with a mid-term review after three years. The expected start date is August 2019, or possibly earlier.
Job Descriptions/Qualifications:
Applicants should have completed, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. in Finance or Economics. Candidates pursuing research topics related to any area of finance will be considered. Research potential will be the key selection criterion and the successful candidate is expected to carry out research suitable for publication in highly ranked finance and economics journals. The teaching load is minimal, and will primarily consist of finance courses at the master level. English is the primary teaching language.
