The Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich invites applications for two
Assistant, Associate or Full Professorships in Applied Microeconomics
The Department of Economics of the University of Zurich is seeking to fill two positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, starting September 2019. Applicants should have a PhD degree in Economics before taking up the position. Successful candidates for Assistant Professorships are appointed to three-year contracts, renewable once, with evaluation for tenure after six years. Applicants at the rank of Associate or Full Professor should have an established academic record commensurate with the position.
The research focus of these positions lies in the area of applied microeconomics, with a particular emphasis on child development and human capital formation. The new professor will have the opportunity of being affiliated with the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development.
The Department of Economics offers an exciting research environment, competitive terms and conditions, and generous research support. Knowledge of German is not a requirement.
