The Department of Economics at Carleton University invites applications from qualified candidates for a Tenure-track faculty position in the field of empirical microeconomics at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2019.

The main criteria for selection are evidence of high-quality research and good teaching potential in empirical microeconomics.

Our faculty members have edited top field journals, have published recently in top general and field journals, and are involved in the NBER. Naturally, this position also offers opportunities for interaction with the students in our Ph.D. program. Location in close proximity to the Bank of Canada, Statistics Canada, Finance Canada, and the University of Ottawa provides many advantages.
