The Economics Program invites applications for a tenure-track advanced Assistant Professor position in the area of Macroeconomics. Successful applicants must have completed their PhD at the time of application, possess evidence of high-quality teaching, and have a record of (or demonstrated potential) for high-quality publications. The applicant’s research agenda must be policy-relevant, data-intensive, and reliant on econometric methodology. Those with the additional ability to contribute to teaching in areas such as open economy macroeconomics, economic development, or international finance will be given priority. Although interviews are planned to take place during the 2019 ASSA meetings, it is possible that the position will be filled beforehand.
