University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the Research Institute for Global Value Chains (RIGVC). RIGVC focuses on research and graduate education. Its flagship research products include the biennial GVC Development Report in cooperation with OECD, WTO and the World Bank, and GVC indicator database in cooperation with the WTO. The dean’s responsibilities include: developing the GVC Report and other flagship products, developing excellent academic programs, forging strong collaborative relationships with international institutes and organizations, raising funding. The candidate is an established scholar in the field, with the vision, leadership and communication skills that enables the institute to fulfill its strategic goals.

The contract is four-year term renewable upon with the satisfaction from both sides. UIBE allows the candidate to choose working part time although the minimum requirement is 3 months on the campus each year. The term can start anytime in 2019. Salary and compensation are highly competitive above the market level.
