Director, Frederick Douglass Institute for African & African American Studies
The School of Arts & Sciences (SAS) invites applications for Director of the Frederick Douglass Institute for African & African American Studies (FDI). (http://www.sas.rochester.edu/aas/index.html.) We are looking for a dynamic leader to guide FDI to national prominence.
The successful candidate will be a tenured Associate or full Professor who will hold a faculty appointment in a humanities or social science department within SAS and will report to the Dean of SAS in consultation with a faculty executive committee. They will have a distinguished research profile and excellent administrative skills.
