Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics. Duties include teaching Microeconomics, International Economics, Managerial Economics, Economics of Immigration/Migration or Other Areas in Applied Microeconomics as well as teaching courses that would include, but are not limited to, Principles of Economics, Intermediate Theory courses, and upper division courses in your area of expertise. For the rank of Assistant Professor, the minimum qualifications are (1) a Doctorate in Economics or ABD with Ph.D. in hand by July 10, 2019; and (2) demonstrated performance as a quality classroom teacher. For the rank of Associate Professor, the minimum qualifications include (1) a doctorate in Economics; (2) at least seven [7] years of demonstrated performance as a quality collegiate-level classroom teacher; and (3) prior rank of Assistant Professor. Additional qualifications include: (1) superior rankings from student evaluations generated from both institutional and third-party evaluation sources; (2) evidence of involvement in student activities and civic organizations; and (3) evidence of an active research agenda leading to publishable work.
