Bloomberg Distinguished Professor Paul Ferraro (http://pauljferraro.com) invites applicants for a Postdoctoral Fellow position at Johns Hopkins University, applying behavioral science and experimental designs to public policy. The position is full time up to two years.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will work as a collaborator with a network of scholars using experiments and behavioral science to inform public policy, particularly in the environmental domain. Duties include designing and implementing field experiments, analyzing experimental and observational data, and writing scholarly articles and grant proposals.
Candidates must have excellent oral and written English communication skills, an ability to communicate to both scholarly and practitioner audiences, a PhD in any of the social or behavioral sciences, experience designing, programming and running experiments, and substantial statistical expertise. Expertise in causal inference from non-experimental data desired. Successful candidates are expected to have a PhD by 7/1/2019 for a start date between 7/1/2019 and 9/1/2019.
