The Department of Economics invites applications for a limited-term position at the Assistant Professor level beginning on September 1, 2019.

The appointment is non-tenure-track and is renewable for up to five years. We seek applicants who are willing to teach Principles of Macroeconomics and/or Forecasting, as well as upper level courses in the candidate’s area(s) of interest. The typical teaching load consists of 3 courses (2 preparations) per semester in a small-class setting.

Candidates should have their PhD completed or substantially completed by the time the appointment begins (the appointment will be at the Instructor rank if the PhD is not completed by September 1, 2019). The successful candidate will possess a commitment to undergraduate education and the potential for maintaining a productive research agenda.
