The Population Studies Center in the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan invites applications for a 1-year renewable post-doctoral fellowship. The Research Fellow will collaborate with investigators working on the Michigan Contraceptive Access, Research, and Evaluation Study (M-CARES https://m-carestudy.org/ ).
The Research Fellow will collaborate on research papers, lead data analysis for the study using Stata, obtain, maintain, and document administrative records, extract data from administrative systems, assist in coordinating project activities with other institutions and agencies, and assist with IRB management.
Requirements for the position are a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely-related field and advanced expertise in applied econometrics and relevant software and programming tools (Python and Stata). Desired qualifications include experience with RCTs and strong writing skills.
