The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in economics, as well as teach Principles of Accounting and other courses in business- related fields. The typical course load is 12 credit hours per semester. Instructional delivery may occur through traditional, online, and/or alternative instructional methods on Mansfield's main campus or off-site educational locations. Additional responsibilities include contributing to student activities, advising students, and participating in university, departmental, and community service activities as well. Successful candidates must also have demonstrated a commitment to research and continuing scholarly growth. The Department of Business Administration at Mansfield University is ACBSP accredited; the successful applicant will also contribute to the necessary duties required for continued ACBSP accreditation.

Minimum Requirements:
• An earned doctoral degree in Economics or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Support Mansfield University's mission and vision statements, and uphold Mansfield University's creed of Character, Scholarship, Culture and Service.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Preference will be given to applicants who have an MBA/MS in a business related field in addition to the doctoral degree in economics or a closely related field.
• Three or more years of experience in teaching economics and business-related courses.
