The Paris School of Economics (PSE) seeks to appoint a full Professor in the field of macroeconomics, with a preference for candidates working in the fields of international macroeconomics and monetary economics. The appointment should ideally start in September 2019.

The candidate should have an outstanding research record. In addition to the usual teaching duties and research activities, the position involves participation in a joint partnership between the Paris School of Economics and the Banque de France. Compensation is negotiable and competitive at the European level. Knowledge of French is not required but useful.

Founded in 2006, the Paris School of Economics ranks in the top 10 world institutions according to REPEC and in the top 20 (2nd in Europe) adjusted for size. It has a full-fledged doctoral program; its faculty produces world class research in all fields of economics and many of them are prominent public intellectuals. The Paris School of Economics has numerous partnerships with private industry and hosts policy think tanks such as CEPREMAP, IPP (Institute for Public Policy) and J-PAL Europe.
