Open-Rank Professor of Economics
The Department of Economics at Smith College invites applications for an Open-Rank tenure-track position to begin July 1, 2020. Candidates should have a strong foundation in empirical macroeconomics, and expertise in time-series econometrics is highly desirable. Teaching responsibilities for this position will regularly include intermediate macroeconomic theory, econometrics at the advanced and/or introductory level, as well as macroeconomic-focused elective courses that utilize quantitative and econometric tools. Ph.D. in Economics or relevant field is required by the time of appointment. Faculty from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
