The Economics Department, BGSU is seeking applicants for an Assistant Teaching Professor (Full time, non-tenure track, one-year appointment, renewable subject to budget and satisfactory annual evaluations) in the field of Economics beginning August, 2020. Responsibilities include teaching four sections of Economics (mostly principles, perhaps intermediate) per semester. Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics (ABD accepted) or Master’s Degree in Economics with the equivalent of at least 3 years of professional (non-academic) experience. Preference will be given to candidates with multiple years of teaching including field courses. Also required, documented record of effective teaching at the university level as evidenced through a statement of teaching philosophy and teaching evaluations.
