The Economic Research and Regional Cooperation Department (ERCD), led by the Bank’s Chief Economist, is supporting the Bank’s mission through providing macroeconomic forecasts, producing statistical databases, undertaking country diagnostic studies and other analytical work on sector and thematic topics, impact evaluation studies and field experiments, and fostering regional cooperation and integration. To enhance existing research and to develop a new stream of economics research using data science and Big Data, we are seeking candidates in quantitative fields (such as economics or statistics), with a focus on data science, to join our team.

Professional experience includes research and teaching experience during graduate school years.
