Research Assistant Position
Professor Costas Arkolakis and Dr. Sun Kyoung Lee of the at Yale University Economics Department are seeking a FULL-TIME research assistant for 1 to 2 years, beginning as soon as possible. We work on a number of projects related to economic geography using machine-learning, big data and digitized historical data.
You will work on projects related to spatial economics. The work will be highly empirical nature, and require coding in PYTHON, STATA, MATLAB, and R. The position will be active from July 15, 2021 to June30, 2022 but start, end dates and duration are negotiable. We are looking for candidates post-undergraduate who intend to pursue a PhD in economics or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Start Date – July 1, 2021 (negotiable) Location – New Haven, CT
